Description: 24seven is an exciting challenge event in the Lake District, that comprises 7 mental and physical challenges to be completed in a 24 hour period. The event symbolises the round the clock care that CLIC Sargent gives its patients.
24seven tests the mind, body and spirit and involves journeying on foot, bike and water combined with cerebral and strategic challenges!
Expect to cover the equivalent of a marathon distance in total, maybe more if your navigation lets you down! 24seven is not just about who is the fittest as your brain will also get a work out during the event but general endurance, stamina and resolve will be the order of the day.
This year’s event will take place on 10th and 11th October in the beautiful setting of the Lake District.
The 24seven challenge is to raise funds for CLIC Sargent (Caring for children with cancer).

In October 2008 the Wight Mountain Race Team was founded, with sponsorship from Red Funnel Ferries.
Most of the Island’s top riders are racing for the team in various UK competitions.
