Tom Boonen to miss this year’s Tour de France

Belgian rider Tom Boonen will miss this year’s Tour de France and could face a six-month ban from the sport after his second positive test for cocaine.

The 28-year-old, who first tested positive for cocaine in May 2008, has been suspended by his Quick Step team:
